First Western Properties faced a number of challenges with their existing website. In addition to an out-of-date, unresponsive design, they had an unnecessarily lengthy copy on most pages, and site structure that made it difficult to add pages needed for an evolving business.
To simplify the navigation and make for an ideal user experience, I looked at google analytics to see types of visitors were coming to the site and the pages they were looking at most. I then matched the visitor goals with First Western Properties’ goals to ensure the site's new structure and flow addressed the needs.
The new site was built in Wordpress utilizing photo imagery, icons and simplification of prior copy heavy pages. The first 2 images show the old website, the following images are of the new site.
